1. A photo taken in daylight or neutral lighting is best. Avoid extreme or dramatic lighting.
2. Frontal Portraits. Straight forward shots, with the pet facing directly toward the camera. Shots taken from above or at odd angles can be problematic when used for a painted portrait. Also the whole animal should be seen.
3. The name of your pet and a little bit about the animal’s personality is helpful.
4. Please respect my artistic influence on the painting. See my examples of works to understand my style of painting. I will choose the colours of the backround and the writing of the name. If you have any colours that do not work for you, please let me know beforehand.
5. The best format working for me is usually the classical A3 (29,7x42cm). If you have something else in mind, please let me know.
THANK YOU
